Achievements & Activities

Outings and activities continue: Thursday morning daycare activities are chosen by the residents at the beginning of each month. There have been visits to High Lodge, Thetford and Bury st Edmunds, as well as a pottery session at Henry Watson Pottery which was much enjoyed.

The favorite so far this autumn was the London visit on 1st November when residents travelled by train to Liverpool St where they met Royal Marines selling poppies. They travelled on the Tube to see the Cutty Sark at Greenwich, Buckingham Palace, St Pauls cathedral and Westminster Abbey, and they walked a long way! Thanks you to Friends of Fenners for subsidising the trip.

We continue to diversify our daycare now that the spring bulbs are planted and the weather is not so good for gardening. With pottery being enjoyed, painting and drawing on offer and music and dance sessions being investigated, we are putting together a wider selection of daycare activities for residents and daycare visitors to enjoy.

News Update: People and Changes
